What version of gv and xaw3d do you have? You may need to rebuild
(not just reinstall) xaw3d.

Hi Alex, It worked. I rebuilt the xaw3d and then rebuilt the gv. Everything works fine now. While rebuilding the pckgs it gives me the following warning,
