There is perhaps some misunderstanding here. Jfm is talking about a CVS
patch applied to the file qt4-x11.info on Jan 9, and Kevin is talking
about the file qt4-x11.patch which, indeed, has not changed since last
November.
You can see whether your qt4-x11.info has the Jan 9 patch applied by
looking at the last line in the PatchScript. If it is
perl -pi -e 's,char [*]inp,const $&,'
config.tests/unix/gnu-libiconv/gnu-libiconv.cpp
then you have the latest version.
