I just got a new MacPro, set it up, and installed some fink software, but had trouble with tetex. I did the following
downloaded and installed fink downloaded and installed finkcommander ran selfupdate ran update-all downloaded binary version of tetex using finkcommander and got the following error message. /sw/bin/dpkg: error processing tetex-base (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of tetex: tetex depends on tetex-base (= 3.0-1005); however: Package tetex-base is not configured yet. /sw/bin/dpkg: error processing tetex (--configure): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of xdvi: xdvi depends on tetex-base (>= 2.0.1-1); however: Package tetex-base is not configured yet. /sw/bin/dpkg: error processing xdvi (--configure): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured Errors were encountered while processing: tetex-base tetex xdvi E: Sub-process /sw/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Is there anything I can do to correct this?
