I tried ... $ grep gfortran -r /usr/local/lib/ $ grep libiconv -r /usr/local/lib/ But found nothing. I did get a hit in /usr/Xll/lib $ grep libiconv.la -r /usr/X11/lib/ /usr/X11/lib/libfontconfig.la:dependency_libs=' -L/usr/X11/lib /usr/lib/libiconv.la /usr/X11/lib/libfreetype.la -lz /usr/lib/libexpat.la ' Is this expected?
