(I'm not sure why you're picking the -nox variants, as those are
holdovers from the days when OS X didn't come with X11 and have less
functionality, but that's a side issue)

Did you try the command that fink suggested?  Try it first.

If you get the same message about the 'files list file' try "fink
reinstall texlive-texmf".

And if that doesn't work, use "fink rebuild texlive-texmf".
