Hi Frank:

I think you need to make sure that "unstable" is being used and then issue the 
commands

fink selfupdate-cvs
fink update-all
fink install pymol-py27

I have to confess I have never used fink commander, so I don't know what the 
equivalent commands are from the GUI.
