Hi all,
I installed Fink yesterday on OS X Lion and everything was working nicely
it seemed, but today I login and every fink command I try to run gives the
following error:
/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo/10.7 encountered a second time at
/System/Library/Perl/5.12/File/Find.pm line 572.
Pretty much the only thing I'm able to do at this point is run selfupdate.
Looking in /sw/fink/ shows the following:
total 64
drwxr-xr-x 8 root wheel 272B Feb 17 15:10 .
drwxr-xr-x 11 root wheel 374B Feb 15 15:50 ..
drwxr-xr-x 8 root wheel 272B Feb 17 15:10 10.7
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 1.6K Aug 20 2002 README
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 11B Feb 17 14:46 TIMESTAMP
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 11B Mar 17 2004 VERSION
drwxr-xr-x 31 root wheel 1.0K Feb 15 16:11 debs
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 4B Feb 15 15:43 dists ->
That last line seems peculiar to me. Executing 'cd dist' keeps me in the
same dir. I'm not sure what may have gone wrong during installation to
create this situation. All I've done is install the base packages, run a
selfupdate, and one update-all.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer on this. I'm really
stuck.
