The bug I am referring to is radr://10466868, "-undefined dynamic_lookup
linker bug" which was introduced in
in 4.2 and fixed in 4.4.1. With this fixed, most of the remaining failures in
the FSF gcc testsuite (such as
gcc.dg/torture/pr53922.c) can be resolved by passing the linkage command
'-undefined dynamic_lookup). Weak
symbol handling has always been a weak point on darwin (especially weakref
which has its own slate of issues).
