After seeing Martin Costabel's solution and your message that 'fink selfupdate' would make the fix available, I ran: 1) 'fink selfupdate' 2) 'fink update-all' 3) 'fink install mediatomb' Apparently, the revision in kde4-buildenv was not picked up, as this reproduced the earlier incomplete configuration error. Then after you pointed out that the problem was in kde4-buildenv, I ran: 1) 'fink selfupdate' 2) 'fink install kde4-buildenv' 3) 'fink install mediatomb' This completed cleanly.
