The easiest way to get at that information is through
fink dumpinfo -fcompilescript <packagename>
That picks up the explicit parameters that are set in our package
description, along with parameters which may have been set by default by
fink. For example:
$ fink dumpinfo -fcompilescript hdf5.7
Scanning package description files..........
Information about 7368 packages read in 1 seconds.
compilescript:
./configure --prefix=/sw --enable-shared --enable-cxx
--disable-fortran --with-zlib=/usr --without-mpe --with-szlib=/sw \
--without-pthread --disable-parallel --disable-static
make
fink-package-precedence
--prohibit-bdep=hdf5.7,hdf5.7-oldapi,hdf5,hdf5-18 c++/ fortran/ tools/
hl/tool
What this does not show is changes made to environment variables outside
of the CompileScript. You can get that kind of information via
fink dumpinfo -fenv <packagename>
or
fink dumpinfo -eVARIABLE
if you want to pick a specific VARIABLE.
I'm in the middle of updating hdf5 right now--it's going to be 'hdf5.8'
because they changed the library version--so if you have any special
requests for a new package variant it's a great time for me to do that.
