It's easily reproducible if you also have Macports installed.  If you 
didn't do that you wouldn't see any such error.

When building with Fink, you should ensure that Macports isn't 
initialized in your $HOME/.profile (for example), and vice versa.

Or you can rename /opt/local when you build with Fink, and /sw when you 
build with Macports.
