You DO have a point there.  I remember the first time a homicide detective dropped a 
stack of crime scene photos on my desk.  I felt like my eyeballs were rolling across 
the floor!

I quickly got over it, except for remembering the first one.

Juries, on the other hand, only have one and no time to get over it.

Do we want them to get over it?  No, not in the sense of being inured to homicide.  
But yes, in the sense of being able to tell horrible from God-awful...
