It all depends on the general trespass law of the particular state. Trespass is usually a misdemeanor. Sometimes the crime consists of entering property with notice that you are not wanted. Sometimes (more often, I believe) it consists of failing to depart after being notified that you are not wanted. The key element is all situations is the giving of "adequate" notice of the owner's policy.
