Seriously though, there is an interesting question afoot. The Heller
language was so lose as to nearly condone the acts this bill attempts to
repeal. I suspect litigation will eventually be filed to overturn '34 and
'68 under Heller, and I'd bet the attempt would fail.

Though odds are currently against the bill gaining traction, the laws would
need repealing if my prediction above holds true. It is generally good
offense to push the agenda.  Though public opinion is far less anti-gun than
in previous decades, returning to mail-order firearms, no transfer taxes,
etc. might not be within current public tolerance. Pushing an advantage too
fast causes backlash (just ask Hitler).
