Are we really that desperate for a new version? I have perfectly stable sites still running FB1.5 because they don't want or need the hassle of upgrading. What is so pressing that we need this new interface anyway? What we already have is still better than some of the alternatives and I'm still moving data off MySQL and other platforms to Firebird ...
