Numbers, to me, are huge. So huge in fact, that I go through the trouble to
re-stamp blocks that are properly dated and part numbered for each car I
restore. (yes I do disclose that)

These cars have been treated so poorly through the years, taken apart, hot
rodded, put together wrong with the wrong parts, it is VERY rare to find a
nice ORIGINAL/restored firebird.

In my opinion, the only way our cars will go up in value, is if they are
correct and represent our segment of the hobby to the best of their/our
ability.

Now on to your car,

A numbers matching drive train would be a great plus. But I'd hire a GOOD
body man(not the dude who put the car together) to get your panels lined up
right. The paint is pretty, but the FIRST thing anyone looking to spend big
dollars will look for is fit and finish. You would expect a $2500 car to be
all out of wack, not a $20,000+ car.

Also, for the love of Pete, lose that silly camaro spoiler. Im sorry, but
that kills me. If you want a camaro spoiler, go buy a camaro.

I'm sure those who read this may may come down on me, but consider this.
Every car gets sold evetually. Would you buy a molested car or a nice
original / restored.....

Joe
