Perhaps the only difference is when something with numbers is replaced? So if I replace doors, fenders, quarters, hood, trunklid, core support, floorpans, seats, interior, rear end, subframe, dashboard, roof panel, all the glass, etc. but nothing that has numbers has been replaced, it's still an original car???? Is deception OK as long as it can't be proved??

John, you just about missed everything I said...

Againg when it the car no longer the car...

You can pretty much replace everything these days... So short of removing
and replacing tags...when does fixing become the same as rebody...

I am not a fan of the re-body.

I will favor restoration motors for restoration purposes...
