Well, I guess I'd have to go with this:

"Start the restoration process with a new frame, tail panel, trunk floor,
quarters, wheel wells, rear seat brace, package tray, full floor pan, new
inner and outer rockers, new toe kicks. New repo roof. Good pillar post off
a donor car. Donor cowl. New fenders and shields good used hood...." 

If it's that far gone, it's time to scrap it.
Make the remaining cars more valuable.

John, you just about missed everything I said...

Againg when it the car no longer the car...

You can pretty much replace everything these days... So short of removing
and replacing tags...when does fixing become the same as rebody... 

I am not a fan of the re-body.

I will favor restoration motors for restoration purposes...
