My next door neighbor dealt in 1st gen Camaros many years ago. He sold a 69 pace car replica convert to a northern buyer. The car was damaged in transit and pulled apart to repair it. New owner found traces of another color of paint and started investigating its past(we are lucky to have PHS).Turns out it started life as a 6 cyl PG car and was cloned. It went to court with lawsuits flying and what saved my neighbors butt from JAIL TIME was the receipt he had from previous seller stating it was a pacecar. The fraud was committed by the previous seller who went to jail.As Kevin says if you get the huh oh feeling just dont do it.
