Good chance, if you are only driving it 300 miles a year you are still on the same gas you filled up with when you had the carb rebuilt. Varnish build up could be a real problem, both in the carb and with your fuel filter. Your carb has lots small openings that old gas can clog. Start simple. First change the fuel filter and run some Gumout or similar cleaning product through the carb. Then see how it runs.
Wayne , TX .................................................................. ....... The carb was rebuilt only a couple years ago and only drive it to shows, maybe 300 miles a year. I've played with the mixture, but it is getting very frustrating.
