Ok all you Rochester 4bbl gurus, I tuned the engine, dwell, points, plugs,
idle, etc, but when I start the car now, it smokes like a mad dog and seems to
load up with fuel. When I step on the accelerator and clean it out, it runs ok
and stops smoking. Why? The carb, floats, needle valves what? I am at a
loss. The carb was rebuilt only a couple years ago and only drive it to shows,
maybe 300 miles a year. I've played with the mixture, but it is getting very
frustrating. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
