I used the taller version that they called a 'high riser' #5708 with the supplied adapters. I used carter/edelbrock carbs with what I believe were 6 inch X 2 inch air cleaners with a flat tops and cheap hardware store wingnuts. My cousin is using my old air cleaners on his '68 Gutlass 455 with offy dual quad and carters.
If you end up going with this set up I can tell you how I did my linkage when used on my 67. It was an amalgamation of parts but worked great. Ran the carbs one to one..not progressively. Like I said, super torque ! I am digging for photos... I may have video this. Early 90's were talkin' here ! Dino, myself and others were screwing around and made a "movie" on vhs.
