I believe the socket is in the wrong place. I think it should be one of the
dash light sockets, and it should have a length of fiber optic attached to
it that goes to the ashtray.

I'm wondering if there is anything that is suppose to be attached to the
R.H. Blinker socket post on the instrument guage, backside. Check out the
photo. It's the only one that is white and has what looks similar to a
male terminal on it. Any idea what this is for?
