Stu/Jim, THanks! That solves the mystery. I must have put it back in the wrong socket. I don't recall having a fiber optic piece for the ashtray. Must have dissapeared long ago. Thanks, Sheen> I'm not sure but it looks similar to the white lamp holder and clip that is used in a '68 dash lamp socket on the board rather than the blinker.
