Dont use it....after I bought mine I started to have oil leak
problems.......took awhile (read +_ $2500) before I located the problem...like
re building tranny 2 times (since people kept telling me they smelled ATF) , I
got smoke at 80 and accelerating.....eventually bought a new from Ames...all
fixed! $14 plus shipping ,no labor!
the chrome one evidently was not quite as much bent at the Z part as the
original and wouldnt hold tight in the tube and under pressure would push out
just a tad, enough to get drips of oil out that landed on the exh pipe and
smoked!

If it's the same chrome dipstick that I bought for my engine it's a piece of
s**t. Nothing fit right. I have yet to hear of a good aftermarket chrome
tube for Pontiac. Use the original dipstick tubes.
A lack of 1 chrome part isn't worth spilling all your oil and blowing up the
engine. :)

I bought a new chrome dipstick from CI, PN T9405. I'm trying to figure how
the block to baffle tube and new tube mate up. The new tube does not slip
over the block to baffle tube nor does it fit into the block trying to put
it in from the outside of the block. How does this go together?
