If you have an original door, by all means use the other original door.
My luck with repo parts has been completely SUB PAR! I've never had a
good fitting body panel. So I've hunted down good original parts for my
firebird. If you've got the ability to do a re-skin, that would be your
next best bet. I've seen them done and they come out MUCH better than
the repo doors.

My one 68 project has a pretty beat up door (drivers) it has two pretty
sizable dents right along the crease. It looks like it would be an ass-ache
to rebuild that crease. I consider myself a pretty good body man and could
most likely get it right after a few painful hours of mud slinging.
I am considering doing a re-skin. I am certainly technically competent to do
it.
I just never did one...
So, what do you guys know about quality skins....????
I may have a local source for a door... that’s a maybe though.
Any advice would be nice.
