The instructions that came with my XE274 say to take the inner springs out during break in. The 995-16 springs that go with this cam are very stiff, 409 lb/in. I understand how this will put less force on the valve train and cam but what a pain in the arse. I already have the heads on. Is it really practical to get the inner springs off and back on with the heads on the engine? I can just imagine trying to keep the valves fully seated while compressing the spring to get the locks on would be next to impossible. Thanks, Sheen _________________________________________________________________ Connect to the next generation of MSN Messenger http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/default.aspx?locale=en-us&source=wlmailtagline ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> Donations: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store/cart.mv?999999> FGF Merchandise: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store>
