First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List .........................................................................
I don’t have the Hotchkis springs, but I did replace my coil springs this summer. Because I have a big block in my 68 Firebird and with the amount of weight on the front axle, I had to go with 67 GTO springs. Stock Firebird springs were not heavy enough, even for other years. You can always cut a coil or two out for desired ride height, but you should weigh the front end, especially if you don’t have an original engine etc. Timothy Subject: [FGF] Hotchkis spring First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ........................................................................ i, oes anyone have Hotchkis 2" drop spring on their Firebirds??
