Looking at the windshield clips, the slot on the clip is at a diagonal. When you put the clip on the rivet thing in the channel, the further up the diagonal you slide it on, the deeper the clip goes into the channel. Are you suppose to slide the clip down as far as it will go? Or, somewhere in the middle? I've seen some moldings that look like they sit up too high in areas, sucked down in others, and just right here and there. It seems like there may be some adjustment in the clip design itself.
