So, the rear end angle should be +2.4? That would mean a 3.2* shim. Maybe you could get the 4* shims and file or grind them down. They're made of aluminum, it should be pretty easy.

P.S.  What kind of tool are you using that measures in tenths of a degree?

I'm looking at getting axle shims to dial my pinion angle in. I read the artcle from the link below and this seems to make sense, i.e. our cars should have -2* total pinion angle. Did anyone go through this process? My tranny is -4.4* and the rear is -0.8*. So, I'm considering getting a 2.5* shim (can't find a 3* one and 4* may be too much). Any advice?
