I tried that last night. I even loosened the motor mount brackets on the P-side 
just in case it was sitting biased towards one end. No luck. I couldn't get the 
tail of the tranny to swing the 1/2" to the P-side. It maxes out at around dead 
center between the subframe and binds, not allowing it to go any further. 
 
I used the dowl pins for aligning the subframe. I spent a lot of time on this 
and think it's dialed in. Also, keep in mind, I'm using the subframe as my 
reference point for measureing the tranny tail position. So, it wouldn't matter 
if it was cocked one way or the other since the engine mounts and tranny mount 
is all relative to the subframe. 
 
It's very obvious that the eng/tranny are sitting in there cock-eyed. I 
measured the c/L of the front of the tranny and it sits 1/2" to the P-side as 
it should. The tail sits dead center. Not right!
