Had another 45 minute round with it today and got it aligned correctly...thank 
God! The trick seemed to be to not only loosen the motor mnt bolts but the 
plate bolts on both sides as well. Also, I disconnected the z-bar on the 
clutch. It finally slid over into place. No compound drive shaft angles to 
worry about.
 
Time for a beer!
