As I recall, the center link, end links, pitman arm and idler arm are different on manual cars and power steering cars. I remember converting my 69 coupe to manual (for 1/4 mile use) and that was the case but I don't recall which was which on the idler arm since it's been many years since I did the conversion.

Just finished rebuilding the front suspension and brakes on my 69. I bought a nice shiney new idler arm but when I went to pull the old one discovered the original setup has the ball end as part of the center link. My new idler arm had the ball end as part of it. I checked several sources and the idler arm I bought is listed as correct on most sites but a couple sites show another one and it's like my old one. Anyone know what's up with the different idler arms?? My 69 is number 500 off the assembly line so maybe there was some holdover in parts from the 68's???? Or maybe it's really the idler arm for a Camaro????
