Hello Dan,

I know you mentioned a '68, but in case your interested, I'm thinking of
putting my '67 326 HO coupe up for sale. Its a solid car, which has been
refreshed. original HO engine, carb, upgraded with a rebuilt 2004R trans,
basically a great driver. Mariner Turq/Turq interior. Let me know if
interested. $13,500.

Bill

First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List
.........................................................................
Hi All,

I am in the market, or will be fairly soon, for another '68.  This time a coupe
that I will use as my daily driver.  I have been watching ebay and Hemmings to
get an idea of the prices now (!) but I'm willing to spend a little to get a
really good, solid car.  What I'm asking for your help on is:

1.  I've bought plenty of parts on ebay.  But Spending $15,000 - 20,000 (or
less; I have no problem with something cheaper!) on a car is different.  What
is the safest way to do this?

2.  This will be bird #4 (I still have #3, a Sprint convertible in restoration
and the others, both 350s, I restored as well).  Any musings or suggestions on
things to watch out for (I believe in "two heads are better than one")?

Thanks for your ideas and input.

Dan
