Hi, Changing my front flexi hose tonight as I have an issue with restricted brake fluid to one calliper. While trying to fit the hoses I purchased 6 months + ago (no chance of getting swapped or my money back) the steel line from the master cylinder has a long fitting approx 3/4" long with a lead and will not go in the new hose connection I have as it needs the shorter fitting approx. 1/2" long (with no lead). Have I got the correct hoses, but some one has played with the hard lines? I think I may just replace the ends on the hard lines and use these new flexi hoses? (or is this bad for the future if I need to replace these too?)
