First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Rick,
I ran into the same sort of issue on my 67. Manual and power have different depths. A 3/8's bolt with the head cut off is the same diameter as the push rod. So that is an option... Or: a corvette uses the same master cylinder as our cars and they had manual disk brakes. I believe that manual disk brakes have a shallow hole and power has a deep hole. Just go to the parts store a tell them you need a master cylinder for a 67 68 69 corvette with non power brakes. That's what I did. And, people, please, I know that corvettes had 4 wheel disks, that's why we have the hold off valve for the disk drum combo.. it's the same MC for all disk brake cars. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/>
