I ran into the same sort of issue on my 67.

Manual and power have different depths.  A 3/8's bolt with the head cut off
is the same diameter as the push rod. So that is an option...

Or: a corvette uses the same master cylinder as our cars and they had manual
disk brakes.

I believe that manual disk brakes have a shallow hole and power has a deep
hole.

Just go to the parts store a tell them you need a master cylinder for a 67
68 69 corvette with non power brakes.

That's what I did.

And, people, please, I know that corvettes had 4 wheel disks, that's why we
have the hold off valve for the disk drum combo.. it's the same MC for all
disk brake cars.
