Hi Rick,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I am home with the flu. You
need to take the filler panels off to get to them. And once you have
them off, you can check the connections at the headlights too.

Wayne

Hi Wayne...i just was able to take a quick look at the car today and
could
not find any sign of these. could you send me a pic? from your
description
it sounds like they are mounted on the inside of the engine compartment?
or
do i have to take the xpan filler panels off to see them?
thx
Rick

Rick,

I have one on each side of the rad support. One near the windshield
washer bottle and the other is behind the battery on the passenger
side.
Mine attach on the outside of the rad support between it and the
grill.

Hi Wayne...we were both thinking grounding but didn't get that far.
Which
side is the ground on...staring at the front of the car...pass or
driver?
I

am being lazy and dont want to take the rad filler panels off both
sides
to
find it...lol. sad, i know. Maybe the garage gremlins fixed it last
nite!

Definitely a ground issue. I had the same issue with my 69. Check
the
grounds that go to the radiator support off of the front headlight
wiring
harness. One of mine was bad and I had almost the same conditions as

you.

Good luck.
Wayne
