Yes, it's possible, you probably have to take the tire off too to get the
inner fender out of the way.  Just be careful not to scrape anything up.

Hello Fellow Birders,

 

     I have a quick question. My 69 Vert needs the heater core replaced and
the heater box that goes in the engine compartment installed. Has anyone
successfully removed the passenger wheel well without taking the fender off?
I have a buddy that owns a body shop and  he wants to try to do this without
removing the fender. Is it possible?
