I hope when you say 1.4 will be simpler you mean there will be a
master disable/disable for www... menu option.  However, it still
would be nice to have the option to enable/disable Console, Script,
and Net independently.

The "Suspend Firebug" option from the status bar icon works as a
master disable but when Firefox is restarted, Firebug is enabled
again.  If this setting could be remembered that would be more useful.
