Hi, I'm also having problems with the console. I have Firefox 3.5 RC2, and when I installed Firebug 1.4a2, console.debug started throwing an exception that "console is not defined". I upgraded Firebug to 1.4a3 and the problem went away. But a few hours later, it suddenly reappeared again... I uninstalled Firebug and installed a3 again and now it's working...
