Don't select "Off for all webpages" or "On for all webpages". Just open
firebug on your dev environment and it will stay open there. Don't open it for
Gmail and it won't open there. By default, Firebug is off for all webpages,
and it will only open for sites that you have earlier opened it at (and did not
click the off button).

Subject: All On/Off Is there no in between?

Ever since I upgraded to 1.4 (and 1.5 for that matter), I've hated
firebug. Previously, I could have firebug set to be on for specific
domains. On by default for my dev enviornments, off by default
everywhere else. I can't get it to work that way anymore.

I have it set to "Off for all webpages"
In my dev enviornment I click the bug to turn it on.
I maximize the window and click on the Net tab.
I have to reload to get any Net data.
I reload, and Firebug is off (despite the window being open)

Only way I can get it to work, is set it to "On for all webpages"
Now it works in my dev enviornment, but of course kills gmail when I
go there.
So I open firebug (takes forever) maximize it (because the off button
isn't there for whatever reason) and click the off button.
I reload gmail.
Oh and look at that, firebug has turned itself on again.

And yes, I'm using 1.5a21 which, as I understand it, was supposed to
fix it not remembering the state for specific pages?
