You can ask the firefox support folks, but I don't see how we can help
you any other way. Something in your browser is preventing our code
from running. Ergo our code can't fix you.

Yes I agree. Again you can raise this with Firefox, but I doubt you'll
make much progress.

Our code is not running, so our menus are broken.

You can try to use about:config to set
 javascript.options.showInConsole pref to true.
Then open Firefox > Tools > Error Console, and try Firebug. Any
errors?
If no, then exit Firefox and run it from the command line with -
jsconsole argument. Any errors?
