Reinstalled a couple times: FF & Firebug. Created a new profile. Tried 1.6X.0a7. It worked Monday. So, I restored the OS to Monday morning which was FF 3.5. None of this worked. I didn't see the specific "extensions.firebug-tracing- service.DBG_toOSConsole" option in my preferences. I uninstalled FB and reinstalled FB 1.5.0. Firebug 1.5.0 & FF 3.6 works. Hence, it appears the issue was introduced by my 1.5.2 upgrade. Thankfully that worked. I was in withdrawal. I love firebug; it's an excellent tool. Hopefully I'll be able to update it again.
