Starting today, I noticed that the Firebug icon had disappeared from my FF 15.0.1 installation. Further investigation showed that it also wasn't in the Tools menu and didn't activate with F12.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled Firebug. It appears (since no restart is necessary) and works just fine. However, when I close FF and then reopen it, Firebug icon, Tools menu item, and F12 are gone. I've tried this several times and I can't seem to get Firebug to "exist" when I close FF and the restart.
