i don't want to get into this unix vs nt debate, but this statement is
misleading. on most of the unix boxes i admin i have shell scripts that
do most of my work for me. the same can also be done on nt with perl or
another scripting tool. almost anything i have to do on UNIX takes me
the same time or faster than on nt (except for a few things, like
getting SMB working the way i want it to, but that's irrelevant to the
fw-ml). apart from that a lot of unices requires a much bigger capital
investment than nt.
