Heh.  ssh2 now has a secure ftp style program, go take a look in the README's.  It's called sftp I think.

Also, you can use scp, which is included with ssh.

SCP(1)                         SSH                         SCP(1)

NAME
scp - secure copy (remote file copy program)

--------
SFTP(1)                        SSH2                       SFTP(1)

NAME
    sftp - secure ftp client

DESCRIPTION
Scp  copies files between hosts on a network.  It uses ssh
for data transfer, and uses the  same  authentication  and
provides  the  same security as ssh.  Unlike rcp, scp will
ask for passwords or passphrases if they  are  needed  for
       authentication.

Cya.

Is there some equivalent of "ssh" for ftp?  Like, I can replace my telnet
by ssh and have greater security.  Is the same possible with ftp?  If so,
what productc are available?  Any free products?

Thanks!
