Hi..

you've got some real good ones there..

firstly.. hmm two ways.. firstly I assume that you are sending mail? or is
it that you want your remote users to receive mail?

well if it is just sending mail - then don't worry - just set your users
machines up so that they point to some well knwon mail relay point.

if you want them to read.. well more difficult - you _could_ let them go
into your internal server over port 110 -but I wouldn't do it..
Hopefully you are using a 'good' firewall - if so get the VPN module and
get Sun's PCSKIP software - that will solve your secodn Q too.. it will
allow them to establish a virtual private network to your internal LAN so
they can get their mail securely and use netbios securely...

On netbios..

DONT!.. its not secure, will never be secure , and is not even designed to
be secure.. openeing up netbios to the world is like throwing old meat to
the crows..

Cheers,

bret
