2 years isn't bad. Their original foray into routing (6611's) had some
quite noticable problems. Most visibly "rlogin -l root" worked. Worse
yet, the root password was an easily broken dictionary word should you
get to the point where you got unprivileged access to one that had rlogin
fixed. It also wasn't particularly surprising a password if you've
experience with IBMs other product lines and backdoor passwords. They
also had "support passwords" that you could sniff if you hooked an
analyzer up to the phone line prior to a support call.
If they've gotten well beyond that, then they've come a *long* way.
