What about Parafuego or Parafuegos which wuould be constructed on the
same model as Paraguas (umbrella) which is supposed to block off rain.

Subject: Re: Firewall in Spanish?

The literal translation of Firewall is " Pared (Wall) de Lumbre (Fire)".
However, in computer terms, I don't think that would relate to much to
how we use it. But the word Pared Protectora (protective) relates much
smoothly to the purpose of a fire wall.

I know this is a weird question, but I am looking for a good word in
Spanish/Mexican to name a firewall. I am looking for a word that means
firewall, hellfire, or something like that.
Does anyone have any ideas? I do not know much Spanish.
If the word is different in the Mexican language, then I would like to
know
that too.
Thanks for your time. Sorry to interrupt your busy days with a request
like
this. :)
