William,
The greatest repository of music on the web that ever existed. Napster provides
a server model that creates a connection point for other clients acting as
server to share MP3 music files for a virtual community of music lovers. What
is being spoken of today is trying to stop users from within from access such a
great service.
Unfortunately, download/uploading of MP3 is high bandwidth consumption which
goes against a good business model. Also, it creates Cyberslacking off...
You can always find the latest information about the Music Industry's case
against Napster on www.slashdot.com.
